The president of the National Assembly of Laos Her Excellency Pany Yathotuo asks Cambodian Premier to boost investment in her country, H.E. Ieng Sophalet, Cambodian Premier’s Assistant told reporter.
During the courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Hun Sen last week, Her Excellency Pany Yathotuo highly appreciated the development, political stability, and macro-economy in Cambodia, he said.
According to H.E. Ieng Sophalet, Her Excellency Pany Yathotuo told Samdech Techo that up to now Laos has received US$ 10 million Cambodian investment project and ask Cambodian premier to encourage more Cambodian investors to Laos.
In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his tanks for Laos’s support and said both countries need more cooperation, especially in border demarcation and the investment, he said.
Her Excellency Pany Yathotuo started her visiting program in Cambodia on September 1-4 and paid courtesy meeting to Cambodian leaders in Phnom Penh and visited Preah Sihanouk Province, a southwestern province.
