Minister of Commerce Boosts for Large Rice Mill Investment

Cambodian Senior Minister and Minister of Commerce H.E. Cham Prasidh has boosted for large rice mill investment in the country.

Cambodia is a potential country in rice producing, H.E. Cham Prasidh said here on Apr. 6 at a seminar, adding that for 2009-2010, the country had over 3 million tons of surplus paddy for export.

According to a statistic presented at the seminar, there are some 52,567 small, medium and large rice mills in Cambodia.
