Exotissimo Introduces its Angkor Bike & Hike, Suited For the Savvy and Curious Travel Adventurer

Adventurers and the curious are in for a treat – Exotissimo is offering its Angkor Bike and Hike tour for those willing to mix adventure with astonishment. A memorable time awaits explorers.

For many active individuals, it can be hard to not be engaged in outdoor adventure activities. Combining that urge for adrenaline pumping pursuits with exploration of Angkor’s treasured relics, Exotissimo has a tour that brings Cambodia’s temples to dedicated hikers and bikers.

The adventure starts with a trekking excursion around the temples, through thick verdant jungles. A number of Angkor’s finest relics will be visited here, including the grand and majestic Angkor Wat and the famous giant faces that await at Bayon.

A trek to Phnom Kulen also awaits. The hill is the birthplace of the Khmer Empire, builders of these very temples guests are exploring. After a dip in the nearby waterfall, travelers will hop on a bike and cycle to Beng Mealea, a relatively unexplored temple covered in jungle and almost free of crowds.

“If you’re looking to absorb the mysticism, allure and magic of Cambodia while still satisfying your need for adventure, then this tour is it, “proclaimed David King, Adventure Manager for Exotissimo Cambodia. “This is one of my favorites – there’s nothing like a nice warm trek and cycle under the warm Cambodian sun with some of the world’s greatest temples at your side.”

In addition to the centuries’ old history of the temples, adventurers will also get to learn more about the country’s more recent tragic past at the Landmine Museum, where initiatives are taken to remove Cambodia of these hazards. A luxury tented overnight stay at Wat Roun is included as well.

From two legs to two wheels to four, visitors will also experience Cambodia in a military grade jeep to Kampong Phluck, a rustic on the Tonle Sap.
