Cruise the mystical Mekong in luxury and take in the wonders of Vietnam
and Cambodia onboard Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection’s
stunning new ship, the River Saigon, which will make its maiden voyage
in January 2012.
For 2012 Uniworld has expanded its Asia program to include Vietnam and
Cambodia, complementing its rich China offering, and will launch the
purpose-built River Saigon which is set to raise the bar for luxury
cruising in South-East Asia. The addition sees Uniworld feature eight,
carefully-crafted itineraries for 2012 spanning Vietnam, Cambodia and
China, including two new programs onboard River Saigon.
The introduction of Vietnam and Cambodia is a response to the growing
fascination in these culturally and historically-rich destinations and
their popularity among travellers.
River Saigon offers travellers a unique, luxurious and hassle-free way
to cruise the Mekong River and experience the untouched beauty of these
destinations. Whether you’re sitting back and enjoying the view of
quaint riverside fishing villages and rolling hillsides from the comfort
of your private balcony, or exploring legendary Angkor Wat, floating
markets or Vietnam’s bustling cities as part of a number of exciting
shore excursions, Uniworld ensures every guest experiences the very best
of the destinations visited in total comfort.
The River Saigon offers an intimate cruise experience with just 30
riverview staterooms meaning there are never more than 60 guests on
board. Each deluxe stateroom is a generous 15.6 square metres and
features French-doors which open onto an outside sitting area, allowing
for sweeping views of the river. Guests are also treated to the finest
linens, a pillow menu, individual climate control, bottled water, robes,
slippers and luxurious bath and body products.
The ship’s public areas add another level of luxury with a spacious sun
deck, a separate lounge with library, massage room, boutique and a
panoramic, fine-dining restaurant inviting indulgence of the highest
order.
