Malaysia looks at finance

CAMBODIA’S planned stock exchange was the primary lure for a group of Malaysian investors visiting last week. “We have observed that the country has potential in the financial sector, and the sector has a lot of room to grow,” said Peter Soon, head of Futures and Options at ECM Libra Investment Bank. Ministry of Commerce Secretary of State Pan Sorasak said the planned Cambodia Securities Exchange would provided an additional opportunity for capital mobilisation.
