[AUTOMOTIVE WORLD]
Nhean Phaloek is now a famous Cambodian inventor and mechanic, having
designed and hand-assembled Cambodia’s first car from used parts in
2003, the Angkor 2003. Since then, he has developed two other vehicles,
but none are produced in volume. However, Phaloek has now designed and
produced the Angkor 333-2010, a 2-seater gasoline-engine vehicle,
capable of reaching speeds of 100km/hr. He has signed a production deal
with Cambodia’s Heng Development Company and China’s Chau Leong
Enterprises, to manufacture the Angkor 333-2010 in volume.
Cambodia does not have an automotive production industry and this
would be the first vehicle to be assembled and produced in the country.
