Battambang modern shopping complex opened

Battambang provincials have on 27th March unveiled a 4-storey modern shopping complex at Kamakor village in Svay Por district of Battambang City.

Mrs. Lim Chhiv Ho, owner and chief executive officer of Golden Century Co Ltd, said the shopping complex was built on 38,540 sq. metres of land. The shopping complex itself covers 9,565 sq. metres and contained 395 modern outlets and stores as well as many residential apartments.
 
The shopping complex took 3 years to complete at a cost of $18,730,000 million. Mr. Prach Chan, Governor of Battambang province, said currently Battambang City has three major markets from the colonial period: Psar Thom (Psar Nat), Psar Wat Leap and Psar Leu.

Beside this Golden Century Shopping complex, there is another modern shopping complex being built by businessman Phu Puy along the National Route No. 5.
